What is courage?

 This is some of my team's work on the topic for devotions: Courage.

Courage poster

We have been learning how to make a poster so I have used a quote on courage to show what I have learned. The reason I have chosen this quote is that it shows me that wherever fear may be there is always the courage to resist it, to master it. So even in the toughest situations, I may go through, there will ALWAYS be the courage to overcome it. It also says that courage is not the absence of fear but having power and control over it. My favorite thing about this poster is probably the color scheme, although the typography is pretty good and eye-catching.

I have a 2A, double ly; de;de;  simile; verb, person sentence; 3 ed; emotion word, sentence; P.C sentence. ( comment on them)
I can give, and respond to, peer and teacher feedback to improve my work and my friend’s.

Use show not tell (describe something instead of saying what it is). Use short sentences for impact. Use wow words. Figurative language.

Wringer

 In class, we have been reading a book called Wringer. It is a book about a boy named Palmer who is supposed to become a Wringer at the age of 10 all he wants is friends. Anyways, here is my comprehension of the first 5 chapters of this book. 

Courage

In devotions, we have been learning about courage. There are many courageous people in history and in the world right now. This work is about courageous people and why courageous people are needed in the world.

Credible - Believable

 Great authors make characters with believable personalities. They show personalities through these: Actions, Dialogue (direct speech), Reactions, Physical descriptions, and thoughts. 

I can see this in Beans character. He is obnoxious and very disrespectful you can see this when Beans leaned across the table, took a deep breath and blasted away. The flames of the candles vanished. Beans has no table manners or no manners in general. Beans was scooping chocolate icing from the birthday cake onto his finger. With the drama of a sword-swallower, he threw back his head and sank his finger into his mouth. When it came out, it was clean. In this part of the book, him being obnoxious and disrespectful is clearly shown. The author has used actions and dialogue really well to give Beans a consistent obnoxious personality.
